Update: May 2009 - Still Missing
Becky’s story is like so many others. She was a grown woman trying to find happiness and love. This quest led her to an involvement with a man her family did not approve of and a life they would never have wanted for her. It was a life she was trying to improve when she was reported missing.
The “Boyfriend” reported her missing. He told investigators, “She left walking. She was going to church. She never returned.”
The “Boyfriend”, was no stranger to Midland Police and was on probation at the time Becky disappeared. He has since violated his parole. During the investigation he was ask if he would be willing to take a lie detector test. He said yes, but shortly afterwards changed his mind. He called Becky’s family less than two weeks after her disappearance asking if they wanted to have a memorial service for her. Did he already know Becky would not be coming home?
Becky's family wants and needs your help. If you have any information on Becky's disappearance... even if it's something you think isn't that important. It may be the one piece investigators are waiting for.

Kent Jacobs… Missing March 10, 2002
The last time Kent’s Mother saw him was on Sunday March 10, 2002. He peeked in on her in the den. Shortly after that he left the family home to visit his old neighborhood, approx. two miles away. This was something Kent enjoyed and had done for the past 25 years.
He was last seen at 5:00 p.m. that Sunday, wearing a Harley-Davidson sweatshirt, blue jeans and black Reebok sneakers in the Colonial Heights area of Hope Mills, North Carolina.
When he did not meet his 5:00-6:00 p.m. curfew. His mother, after speaking with her daughter in Seattle, contacted authorities. Kent's younger sister knew that something was terribly wrong! Her brother had a routine and that routine was disrupted. He had never been late for curfew.
Kent has mental retardation and would not have the intellectual capacity to initially sense danger.
The authorities have been searching for Kent, but continue to hit dead ends. He disappeared only a few yards from Interstate 95, which is a major interstate that stretches from New York to Florida.
Kent was last seen wearing a Harley-Davidson sweatshirt, blue jeans and black Reebok

Dori Ann Myers - Missing Jan. 10, 2006
Dori has been missing since the night of Jan. 10, 2006. Her credit cards, bank accounts and passport have not been used since her disappearance. Having a good heart may have led to her disappearance. Her case remains unsolved.
Her family is seeking your help. Her sister, Donajean, has created a love filled web site with photos, information and updates. Please visit the site and read about Dori… it will touch your heart and make you so damn angry, all at the same time.
Dori was last seen leaving the St. Lucie Inn, a local nightspot where she spent some of her free time with friends. Before leaving she told a friend that she was taking two men (who claimed to be U.S. Marines) back to her home in St. Lucie County because they had nowhere else to stay.
The last person known to speak with Dori was an ex-boyfriend who called her home around 9:30 that night. After he heard voices in the background… Dori told him the men were Marines who had been wounded in the Iraqi War, they didn’t have anywhere to stay and that she'd invited them to stay the night in her home. She stated one man was going to sleep on the sofa bed and the other man would sleep on the couch.
Neighbors later reported to investigators… they heard what sounded like an argument resonating from Dori’s house at around midnight but did not call police. At approximately 3:00 a.m. Dori’s house was in flames. The fire department determined that the fire was arson.
Dori’s black 1998 Toyota Corolla was seen pulling out of the driveway at the time of the fire. The car was found some 80 miles away in a remote area of Glades County, completely destroyed by fire.
The Suspects:
One man is described as Caucasian, about 25-35-years-old, tall, weighing about 175-200 lbs., wearing a ball cap, with a stud earring in his left ear. The second man is described as having a darker complexion than the first man, and may be an American Indian or Hispanic.

Jane Doe - San Mateo County, California
Authorities found this unidentified woman on June 6, 2006 inside a tent along a service trail south of San Pedro Avenue, just off of Highway 1 in Pacifica in San Mateo County California. The tent contained many books, including two Bibles with several scriptures noted, a “Busy Women’s Journal” and Harry Potter.
Dental work is all the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office has to determine her identity.
The woman is believed to be in her 40s. An anthropology report places her age between 33 years old and 46 years old. A dental report estimates her age anywhere from 25 years old to 40 years old. She weighed approximately 130 pounds and was between 5 feet 4 inches tall and 5 feet 6 inches tall. She had brown, straight and stringy hair with gray streaks. Yellowing of the cranial bones suggest possible tetracycline therapy for acne.
Her body was badly decomposed, and they couldn't determine a cause of death. There were no signs of trauma and some of the woman's writings indicate that she intended to starve herself to death.
Her fingerprints were run and they revealed her picture, a name, date of birth and place of birth. It was all fake.
At one time she had been booked into San Mateo County Jail by the California Highway Patrol. The problem is when she was booked in she gave a false name. She said she was Sam Smith. The woman gave a date of birth of Jan. 20, 1960 with a birthplace of Louisville, Ky. The Coroner’s Office did not find any record of a Sam Smith matching her description in Jefferson County, Ky.
The only thing the Coroner’s Office knows for certain is the woman once received high-quality dental work. The Coroner’s Office is hoping a dentist somewhere may recognize her face and remember performing the work, Gamble said.
She was wearing: Gray colored fleece jacket with zipper (LL bean's men XL) Navy blue nylon/Dacron pants (Cherokee XL) Dark blue pants with waist snap/ Drawstring (Merona M)
Anyone with information about this woman should contact Senior Deputy Coroner Kristine Gamble with the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office at (650) 312-5562.
