Cheryl Ann Magner ~ Missing ~

~UPDATE~ September 16, 08 Cheryl Magner Has Been Found Alive. Hopefully she will be back home with her family soon. All comments to this posts have been removed by the administrator.

Information contained below was posted prior to her being found.

I first posted about Cheryl Ann in May of this year asking for update information on her missing persons case. I recently received an update from her family.

She is still missing and quoting the family member... "What did the police do? Absolutely nothing. They kept telling us that "she was almost 18".... So it wasn't a high priority." The family has had to hire a private detective to investigate Cheryl's case. In their words "the police won't do their job."

Cheryl has been missing since the beginning of June 2005. She was last seen in Marin County, CA. She was 17 years old at the time of her disappearance. She is 5’8” 140 lbs. Cheryl was last seen leaving her job after work and getting into a car that the police have since identified as belonging to a two-time felon. His crimes were “Kidnapping and Terrorism".

If you think you have seen Cheryl please contact the Marin County Sheriffs Department at 415-499-7365. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Missing ~ Jon R. Van Dyke, USMC Retired

Missing since May 19, 2005 from work at CitiGroup Command Center in Las Vegas. Ran errand and never returned to work. The family are worried about his safety. Jon had surgery several years ago leaving a scar running from his calf to his groin on his inner leg. The surgery was for a vein bypass in his leg. At the time a diseased vein was used, as his veins are not in good shape. He may have experienced a stroke. Jon had been diagnosed with diabetes many years ago but was never on medication for it. Jon went through alcohol rehab 11 years ago for an addiction to bourbon.

You can help this family by sending the updated flyer out to law enforcement agencies, medical/psychiatric hospitals and rehab centers across the country and to shelters. Please see and download flyer at this web site.

 Weight 185 lbs.

America’s Most Wanted ~ Boulder Jane Doe Story to air Saturday July 8th, 2006

On April 8,1954 two University of Colorado students discovered the naked body of a young woman on the rocky edge of Boulder Creek. A compassionate community raised the funds for her funeral and buried her under a stone that read "Jane Doe, April 1954, age about 20 years." She has never been identified, and her murderer has never been found.

Finally, after months and months of delays, "America's Most Wanted" will air its segment on Boulder Jane Doe on Fox TV, Saturday July 8th. We are hoping this national TV exposure will bring in some leads to this very cold case.

Congratulations to Silvia Pettem and the Boulder Jane Doe Gang!
